To monitor the use of big data to produce statistics by national statistical institutes – INEs in Latin America and the Caribbean, the UN Regional Hub for Big Data in Brazil, with the support of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean - CEPAL, conducts an annual series of consultations with INEs. Consultations are carried out in the first quarter of each year and their results are published in the second half of the year.
